Basic Steps for Game Day:

1. PREPARE THE GAME DAY ROSTER

In GotSport:

  • Add/Remove Players as needed
  • Add Club Pass Players if necessary
  • Update Player Jersey Numbers

HANDWRITTEN PLAYERS RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC FORFEIT, be sure the Game Day Roster is correct.

2. PRINT THE MATCH CARD

  • Download and PRINT a copy of the Match Card
  • BRING the printed copy of the Match Card to the Game

BOTH TEAMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING A PRINTED COPY OF THE MATCH CARD TO THE GAME!

Match Cards are available to print 48 hours prior to the match. For weekend games, Match Cards should be printed the Friday of the weekend after 12:00 pm (noon) to ensure the system has time to capture any Club Pass Player entries, possible field changes, possible time changes, or possible complex changes, etc. 

3. ACCESS VIRTUAL PLAYER CARDS

WDDOA utilizes VIRTUAL PLAYER CARDS.  All teams participating in SCL, Prime, Challenger, and Alpha Flights will be checked in at the field using VIRTUAL PLAYER CARDS. Teams must have their virtual cards ready for inspection at the field via a smartphone/tablet prior to the game.

4. REPORT THE GAME RESULTS

  • Report the Score in GotSport
  • Report any Red or Yellow Cards issued during the game in GotSport

BOTH TEAMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING THE GAME RESULTS (SCORE/RED CARDS/YELLOW CARDS) IN GOTSPORT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF COMPLETION OF THE MATCH!

5. SUBMIT THE MATCH CARD TO WDDOA

  • PRIME - the REFEREE will keep the Original Match Card upon completion of the game, and the REFEREE will be responsible for getting the Original Match Card to the site coordinator, who will turn it into WDDOA
  • CHALLENGER (NEUTRAL) - for Challenger NEUTRAL games (meaning that the WDDOA  Office scheduled the game because the Home Team elected to utilize the Neutral Site Scheduling Model) are designated in the schedule with the HOME team (the first team appearing in the schedule) listed with the word "Neutral - " before the club/team name - the REFEREE will keep the Original Match Card upon completion of the game, and the REFEREE will be responsible for getting the Original Match Card to the site coordinator, who will turn it into WDDOA
  • CHALLENGER (HOME/AWAY) - for Challenger HOME/AWAY  games (meaning that the HOME club scheduled the game because the Home Team elected to utilize the Home/Away Scheduling Model) are designated in the schedule with the HOME team (the first team appearing in the schedule) NOT having the word "Neutral - " before the club/team name - the WINNER of the game, or the HOME TEAM in the case of a tie, is responsible for mailing or delivering the ORIGINAL Match Card to WDDOA
  • ALPHA - for all Alpha Games, the WINNER of the game, or the HOME TEAM in the case of a tie, is responsible for mailing or delivering the ORIGINAL Match Card to WDDOA

IN ALL SITUATIONS, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WDDOA RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL MATCH CARD
