ADULT COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

This applies to COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES, TEAM MANAGERS, ASSISTANT TEAM MANAGERS, PLAYERS (who will be turning 18 during the seasonal year), ETC. 

Any Adult participating with the team at practice, on the player sideline during a game, accessing the team account in GotSport MUST have the following:

  • Approved KidSafe (background check - must be updated every two years)
  • Current SafeSport Training certificate (must be updated every year)
  • Current CDC Heads Up Concussion training certificate

PREPARING YOUR GOTSPORT TEAM ACCOUNT FOR INITIAL ROSTER GENERATION

UPDATE/UPLOAD PLAYER PHOTOS:

Every player on your team must have a CURRENT passport style photo uploaded into their individual player accounts in GotSport. Before the rosters are generated, every player's photo should be checked to verify the following:

  • Does the player have a photo?
  • Is the player's photo current?
  • Is the player's photo appropriate? (photo should be a passport style ID photo)
  • Is the player's photo in focus?

YOUR TEAM'S INITIAL ROSTER AND VIRTUAL PLAYER CARDS WILL NOT BE GENERATED (CREATED) UNTIL ALL PLAYERS ON YOUR TEAM HAVE A CORRECTLY CROPPED AND APPROPRIATE PHOTO !!

It is ideal if the team manager takes and updates their team's player photos every year. Photos can easily be taken at a pre-season practice with a smartphone. Most smartphones also have editing features that allow cropping/editing of the photo(s) if necessary.
 

UPDATE PLAYER JERSEY #'S:

Some competitions require the player's correct jersey number be printed beside the player on the team's Official Roster.  To have the correct jersey numbers generate/print on your Official Roster, jersey numbers must be correct in the current seasonal year GotSport WDDOA Team/Player Registration Event (official roster).
