TRANSITIONING TEAMS INTO SPRING 2021 PLAY
WDDOA Important Dates, Initial Schedule/Scheduling Workshop Info & Spring Team List Now Available!
It's time to start preparing for Spring 2021!
Below is all the information you will need to transition your team into the Spring season successfully. Please make sure to review ALL the information, as we hope it will help you navigate the process and provide a smooth transition for your team trying to complete the balance of the 2020-2021 seasonal year.
| SPRING SEEDING & FALL 2021 PROMOTION/RELEGATION...HOW DOES THAT WORK? |
Teams were seeded into Set 2 (Spring) based on the Average Points per Game (APG) from the Set 1 (Fall) final league standings (non-conference games were removed before calculation). **Note: The APG has been included on the WDDOA Spring 2021 Final Team List (to the right of the team name) for reference.
Promotion/Relegation into Fall 2021 will be based on the final league standings from Set 2 (Spring 2021) season.

U11-U14 Teams = 10 to 12 Games (non-pandemic year is 14 Games)

U15-U19 Teams = 8 to 10 Games (non-pandemic year is 12 Games)

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULES - SPRING 2021
Preliminary (INITIAL) schedules are now available ONLY to Team Managers/Coaches in GotSoccer. Scheduling for Spring 2021 will return to the WDDOA standard travel model; therefore, teams will not be grouped in geographical brackets.
INITIAL schedules can be accessed by logging into the GotSoccer "TEAM" account. Please do not share this information in ANY FORM with your team, as these schedules will change once the scheduling meetings in January are held.
FINAL schedules will be ready for the teams (players/parents) on February 5, 2021 for U11-U14 & February 19, 2021 for U15-U19. When final schedules are complete, they will be posted on the website under the Prime / Challenger / Alpha Flight buttons.

PRIORITY SCHEDULING - SPRING 2021
For Prime & Challenger (neutral) Games: When BOTH teams have agreed in GotSoccer Chat to move a game, teams can fill out a Priority Reschedule Request Form and get the game reviewed BEFORE the scheduling meeting. Remember: Neutral games are notated in the online schedule with asterisks (*).

SCHEDULING WORKSHOPS - SPRING 2021
The WDDOA Scheduling Workshops will be organized depending on the flight:
- Flight 1 - Prime: Zoom Meetings
- Flight 2 - Challenger (Depending on Flight Structure)
- Flight 3 - Alpha: No Online/Zoom Scheduling Workshop
Teams will work together via email or GotSoccer Chat to secure agreements. Once secured, the HOME CLUB Field Scheduler will assign the games in GotSoccer.

Age Group Meetings Will Start ON TIME - Late Coaching Representatives May Be Denied Schedule Input.
CHALLENGER FLIGHTS WITHOUT ZOOM MEETINGS
Neutral Game Reschedule Information - As part of the modified scheduling process, teams may have been bracketed into smaller flights in order to complete the 2020-2021 seasonal year.
For some of the brackets that have either 1 or 2 Neutral teams, it will be more efficient in those particular brackets to provide an online process for scheduling those (1 to 2) games instead of a hosted Zoom meeting.
For teams who chose "Neutral" as their team scheduling format, the ability to get initial scheduled games moved will be accomplished by the: ONLINE neutral SCHEDULING google doc. We cannot process any reschedule requests via email.
