WDDOA U11-U12 REQUEST FOR CONSIDERATION - SPRING 2023
Getting Ready for U11-U12 Spring 2023...See what options are available
U11-U12 TEAMS ONLY:
As a reminder, league scheduling for U11-U12 WDDOA Flight 3 - Alpha & U11 Boys WDDOA Flight 2 - Challenger was broken into Set 1 (Fall 2022: Sept-Dec) and Set 2 (Spring 2023: Feb-March) to complete the 2022-2023 seasonal year.
In preparation for Set 2, here are some of the deadlines and options available:
Request for Consideration (RFC) Spring 2023 Open:
Tuesday, Nov 15, 2022 3:00 pm
Request for Consideration (RFC) Spring 2023 Closes:
Tuesday, Jan 3, 2023 5:00 pm
RFCs MUST be submitted no later than Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 5:00 PM for consideration. All requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis - the more information provided on the form, the better.
All forms will be reviewed by the Directors Council on Thursday, January 5, 2023 and notification to teams will occur on Friday, January 6, 2023 by 5:00 PM.
All requests may not be approved - All decisions by the Directors Council are final and may not be appealed.
U11-U12 CHALLENGER TEAMS
CHALLENGER: (Current WDDOA Teams)
Through the RFC form, Challenger Teams may request a Directors Council Review in order to:
- drop down to play in Alpha
- notify WDDOA Team will not be Returning for Spring
Approved teams will be removed from Challenger league standings (excluding U11B since they are playing Set 1-Set 2 schedule) and included in their approved flight schedules.
There is no fee to submit a Request for Consideration (RFC)

U11-U12 ALPHA TEAMS
ALPHA: (Current WDDOA Teams)
Through the RFC form, teams may request a Directors Council Review in order to:
- drop down to local D2 play
- express interest in an invitation to play in Challenger (should a slot become available)
- notify WDDOA Team will not be Returning for Spring
Approved teams will be removed from Alpha Set 2 schedules and will be included in their approved flight schedules.
There is no fee to submit a Request for Consideration (RFC)

DII OR OTHER LEAGUE TEAMS
DII or OTHER LEAGUE TEAMS: (Non-WDDOA Teams)
Through the RFC form, DII or Other League Teams may request a Directors Council Review in order to:
- participate in Spring WDDOA Flight 3 - Alpha
*USYS registered teams would not transition to a WDDOA registration event. Teams (including current or new player registration) would remain registered with their current/local (USYS) member association.
The fee to submit a Request for Consideration (RFC) is
$100.00 per team

Over the Winter Break:
Challenger teams may request to drop down to Alpha. If teams drop out of Challenger, Alpha teams may be invited to move up to Challenger. Pre-qualification for Challenger 2023-2024 will be offered to teams who accept the invitation.
For the Season:
Teams who are approved into a higher flight will play (as close as possible) the vacated teams' currently published seasonal year schedule. All games scheduled for approved teams will be non-conference and will not count toward final standings.
